About

Registered and licensed counsellor (KB, PA) · English and Mandarin
A little about me
I became a counsellor because I believe people change when they feel understood. In sessions I try to be steady and honest, and to make it easier for you to say what is hard to say.
Over the past five years I have worked in online counselling, Employee Assistance Programmes, a children’s shelter home and university counselling centres.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. We can start with whatever is on your mind.
My approach
How I work
Emotionally Focused
An attachment-based approach that helps us notice the emotions beneath our reactions, especially in close relationships.
Family Systems
Looking at the patterns we learned in our families and still repeat today.
Integrative
I also use other evidence-based methods, such as CBT, when they suit what you need.
